I managed to get a few bombers out of Oregon. I really wanted to stock up heavily but it didn't work out as well as I'd hoped. My fault entirely.
So the First of these to be enjoyed by me (on many different levels) is this Laurelwood Hop Monkey IPA. I am enjoying drinking it, photographing it, thinking about it, and blahgging about it. But I am also enjoying the possibilities of either boring you to tears or making you jealous. All of these make me smile.
6% ABV 14.5º Plato O.G. 2.5º Plato T.G. 60 IBU
Medium, Medium, Medium, with a great label. Medium Hops, Medium body, Nicely Medium floral and citrus, um, ness. I say Drink It.
On a related note, and really more Importantly, Fink is getting ready to open a whishey bar called Branch up on Alberta Street in the NE PDX. His Ramblings on the matter, which are always entertaining, can be found HERE. Good luck Landrew.

We stopped in Eugene on the way home. We had planned for Ninkasi the whole trip. The tasting room is only closed on Mondays. It was Monday. Grabbed a bottle from a local there, brought it home.
I love this stuff, everytime. It's not overly hopped or complex, but it has a nice balance, and appeases my sweet tooth. A Wonderful Single IPA. It's going perfectly with Gram Parsons: Fallen Angel.
